OM71-34 William Bligh Log, 1791-1793.

Transcript of an official log kept by William Bligh aboard the Providence between 17 July 1791 and 6 September 1793. The log is titled "A Log of the Proceedings of His Majesty's Ship Providence on a Second Voyage to the South Sea under the Command of Captain William Bligh, to carry the Bread Fruit Plant from the Society Islands to the West Indies, written by Himself". The transcript is in a clerical hand and is signed by Bligh.
